Costs
In a world where transport plays a significant role in economic activity and the movement of people and goods, professional driving skills are becoming an indispensable asset. But acquiring this skill isn't affordable. You have to consider a variety of expenses, including the cost of training and the test. In the Netherlands getting Code 95 may cost as nearly 3000 euros. Fortunately, the costs associated with getting this certificate are lower in Poland and can be as low as 1500 to 2000 PLN.
For truck drivers, the Code 95 certificate is necessary to operate trucks that weigh more than 7.5 tons in Europe. The certificate can be added to C1 or C1E licences, allowing the driver to use lighter trailer combinations.
You must take a psychological test and medical exam to be eligible for an Code 95 Certificate. The cost of the course includes a medical examination, PKZ service, payment for the plastic Code 95 certificate, and theoretical lessons.

Training options

The training program is a periodical requirement that requires 35 hours of instruction and can be done at an instructor at a driving school or even at home (e-learning). Code 95 training is divided into two types: short and long courses. The long course lasts approximately four weeks long and culminates with a test administered by the government. After passing the exam you will receive an electronic card. The card must be submitted into the database of unified European certificates. The institution where you attended will then submit the card to the database. The card will be processed within 14 days.
The long course costs approximately 2,000 PLN. The exam costs 300 PLN. You'll need to pay an additional fee to the school in order for them to enter your certificate into the unified European database. Once the card has been issued, you can take it to the school.
As trainers, you must follow the guidelines to be able to offer a course that issues Code 95. First, you must submit a plan of training to the CBR. This plan of training must be approved before the start of classes. You must also follow a number of other strict procedures during the training.
You will receive an acknowledgement from the CBR when you have completed the course successfully. The certificate can be mailed to the RDW. After a successful submission you'll be able to renew your license with the municipality. If you don't renew your license by the expiry date you won't be allowed to drive professionally for more than 12 hours a week. Exams

After you have completed the training you will be awarded the certificate from your teacher and the CBR. The CBR will inform the RDW that you have completed your training.
A digital tachograph is required for vehicles that weigh more than 3,500kg. The tachograph records the time of driving and rest periods and saves them to an tachograph memory card. To operate a truck, you must possess a driver's licence C. This is the largest driver's licence in Europe. In the Netherlands, the requirement is that you pass the initial qualification for professional drivers at the Central Office for Motor Vehicle Driver Testing (Centraal Bureau Rijvaardigheidsbewijzen, or CBR, in Dutch). You must also undergo a medical exam.
For buses and passenger vehicles you must also have an driving license, either C or D. The requirements for bus drivers are different from those for truck drivers, as they need to pass a written test as well as an oral test. In addition, they need to have a code 85, which is a certificate proving their professionalism.
